Re-rating in the platform

Answers: How do I get fresh quotes after risk data changes? Can I quote a different limit? Do old quotes stay visible?

Re-rating sends an existing submission back to market for fresh quotes — to present multiple limit options to the client side by side, or after risk details change mid-placement (the client corrects their revenue, or headcount doubles). Everything you already entered carries forward: update what changed and go back to market.

How to re-rate

  1. Open the submission's Risk Details tab.

  2. Update whatever's different about the insured (for example, a revenue change) — the step is already filled in with the existing client details, and the markets you're resubmitting to show as removable chips. If you're just looking for new limits with the same risk details, leave this step as is.

  3. Click Go to Market on the bottom bar.

  4. A Go to Market dialog opens to review coverage details: change the Aggregate Limit to the new value you want to quote, review the details, then click Continue.

  5. The dialog moves to the risk information for your selected markets. Review it, then click Go to Market to send — when only some of the selected markets are ready, the button reads Submit N Ready instead.

New quotes return to the Market Details tab, added to the existing Quotes table alongside your earlier results.

What happens to the old quotes

Old quotes stay visible — going back to market adds quotes; it doesn't delete or hide earlier ones by default. That's deliberate: two quotes from the same carrier at different limits are both real prices, meant to sit side by side.
